When should I drink this wine?

Why did we choose it?
This wine enables us to discover a typical product from the region of Asti. It is produced from a grape variety that has almost disappeared. It was indeed one of the greatest Italian wine until an epidemic decimated almost all its representatives. It has been preserved and brought back to production by some young producers of the Piedmont. It is a very nice opportunity to discover a grape variety that has almost been forgotten.

The domain:
The 10-hectares domain of Luca Ferraris is situated at the northeast of Asti. It is a family propriety since 1921. Luca Ferraris bought plots and patiently rebuilt a domain so as to plant indigenous grape varieties but also Syrah and Viognier. Although he has a passion for sustainable agriculture, Lucas does not hesitate to introduce the most modern techniques. This global vision enables him to produce accomplished wine with style.
